The Therapist & The Approach

Juniper North Practice is a psychotherapy practice rooted in the belief that healing happens through connection, self-understanding, and feeling safe enough to show up authentically. I offer a compassionate, integrative therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the emotional weight of simply trying to hold everything together in a demanding world.

Founded by Andrea Szabo, LMHC, Juniper North Practice blends traditional psychotherapy with holistic, nervous system-informed approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. My work is warm, grounded, relational, deeply collaborative with a splash of humor. I help my clients move beyond survival patterns and reconnect with themselves in a more compassionate and empowered way.

Drawing from modalities such as Brainspotting, parts work (IFS-informed), mindfulness, somatic awareness, and attachment focused therapy, I tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Juniper North Practice values depth, authenticity, and the understanding that healing is not about “fixing” who you are, but creating space to better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and build a more connected and fulfilling life.

With a balance of clinical insight and genuine human connection, I offer therapy that is thoughtful, modern, and rooted in whole-person care.
